Oliver P. Morton was Indiana's governor. He belived in both the union and president Lincoln. He was born in Salisbury, and he was orphaned at an early age, and he was raised by his relatives. He was a Democrate as a young man, but disliked the Southern States.
Eliza E. George
Eliza E. George was a nurse in the for the union troops during the Civil War. Many people thought she was to old, but dhe didn't think so. In 1863 she began taking care of soldiers by delivering food, clothing, and hospital supplies.

John Hunt Morgan
He was a Confederate general, he disobeyed his orders. He led a lot af men across the ohio river and into southern Indiana. He hoped to find supplies there so he could steel them and make him better.
